When employed as a Kitchen Porter/Catering Assistant I found Lauren’s timekeeping impeccable. Lauren has shown commitment and enthusiasm when undertaking any tasks in hand. From unloading food deliveries to manning the pot wash, serving of customers and till duties. Lauren has also shown that s he is a capable cook as well. Lauren’s daily duties can include food preparation and light cooking duties. A bit of an all – rounder is Lauren. Lauren’s love of pastry shows through from making a strudel to a vegetable wellington. Lauren has a great pas sion and interest for food. Her famous quote on the morning shift is “What’s for lunch today?” Lauren will give her best with any job tasks that may be allocated to her without a slight hesitation. School of Know How

Our people are our most important asset & we recognise that learning & development is fundamental to meeting & exceeding the needs of our clients & customers.

Our School of Know How programme ensure our team members are trained to levels which are over & above the norm; this ensures that they graduate from the ‘school’ with an understanding & ability to deliver the KUDOS Know How! Imogen Lee oversees our recruitment & training; & is responsible for improving service standards, instilling standard operating procedures & ensuring that our service excellence is consistently maintained. She works with our General Managers to ensure that all team members are inducted, trained, nurtured & developed.

Michelin Masterclass

2 Michelin starred chef Daniel Clifford is our Creative Director & works closely with our teams to develop new & innovative menus & to deliver the ‘Michelin Masterclass’ training for our team.

Daniel is chef patron of Midsummer House in Cambridge which holds two Michelin stars & 5 AA Rosettes. As part of our School of Know How training, our chefs & front of house management receive first-hand experience of working in one of the best restaurants in the UK. Our teams get to work in the Midsummer restaurant & kitchen over a number of days so that they can experience “Michelin life” and give them an insight into what it takes to win two Michelin stars & what details they can instil in their teams at their units.

The Michelin Masterclasses are wonderful training platforms which bring the best out of our teams, whilst ensuring our partners & clients reap the benefits
